First Impressions
This set overall has decent looks, and it won’t get dinged on that. The unifying receiver is tiny and travels well on your laptop without needing to be removed for fear of breakage. One downfall is it’s easy to lose, as has happened many times if you take it out and put it in random pockets or other computers. One thing to note is the unifying receiver can work with just about any Logitech mouse and keyboard.
Mouse
The first thing you’ll notice is the feel of plastic-y light shell and on the cheaper side. For my large paw I would definitely prefer a much larger mouse however. The good news is the unifying receiver can be used with any other Logitech mice and keyboards so I will still be able to de-pair the mouse and switch to a new one that I would prefer to use.
Keyboard
The keyboard has decent finish, and all glossy surfaces are covered with a protective film. I’ve been using Logitech devices for a while so I know they are rock solid, and will work well for years. The weight of the keyboard is good and feels of higher quality than the mouse it comes paired with.
Testing
Mouse
Although the mouse felt quite light, it’s still really responsive and works right out of the box, on most surfaces, except I believe glass didn’t work for me, so if you have a glass table, forget about it without a mouse pad. Also you may want to adjust the speed of the mouse movement, as out of the box its a bit slow. But these are things you get used too after a few hours. Missing back and forward buttons! Major Ding! This to me is unacceptable, and I consider it to be a featureless mouse. I’m used to browsing with the back and forth buttons at my fingertips, and this make it annoying to move your hand up to find the back and forward buttons.
Keyboard
The keyboard, has what I think to be a decently good key depth, but seems to swallow my fingers a little bit on the return. As in perhaps not springy enough compared to my last keyboard. This is most likely just my fingers feeling the different finish and shape of the keys, rather than the keyboard fault, and would most likely just need a day to get used to it. Quick functions buttons are a nice touch in case you need to adjust volume and playback of your media, which works well in YouTube, and other apps such as VLC media player.
VERDICT
Who should buy it
Those who need an economical keyboard mouse set. With very useful keyboard and don’t mind a featureless mouse without all the whistles.
Those who just need this for a stand in or to bundle with a pc for a cheap price.

Those who want only the highest quality regardless of price. I recommend this combo: MX800
Those who have bigger palms and hands, and require a larger mouse, again the MX800 linked above is a great mouse, as I’ve used before.
